Its 10-inch head screen shows a friendly face, while a large landscape touchscreen held at chest height presents pictures, videos and your own Q&A content. It wakes when a visitor comes within about 2 metres, runs for a published 10 hours on a 20,000 mAh battery and docks itself to charge.

  2. 02

    Wakes and greets visitors

An infrared sensor wakes the robot when a visitor comes within about 2 metres, and it greets them with a welcome message.

  3. 03

    Your own Q&A

Load company and product information as questions and answers, edit it from a phone or computer, and the robot answers visitors while the chest screen shows related pictures and videos.

    Face recognition

The robot classifies visitors' faces so it can present matching services or offers.

  5. 05

    Remote one-way video call

Over a one-way video call, an operator can control the robot remotely and send frequently used phrases, such as "May I help you?", for it to deliver to a visitor.

  6. 06

    Expressive, tilting head

The head screen shows 32 face expressions, and the head tilts up and down to widen the camera's view.

  7. 07

    Automatic charging

When the battery runs low, the X2 returns to its charging dock and charges itself.

  8. 08

    Collision and fall prevention

Ultrasonic and infrared sensors around the base help prevent collisions and falls, and anti-slip rubber wheels carry it across the floor.
